217 Wine labels

Two frames with a number of old  wine labels  show in particular the different vineyard locations as they were common before the vineyard location ordinance came into force in 1973. …

For example, there were the site names “Schwarzloch”, “Sendelbach”, “Fußhalde”, “Ameisenberg”, “Hatsbach”, “Mühlberg”, “Stollenberg” and many more. These designations largely disappeared. Today there are only eleven single vineyards in Durbach. Incidentally, Durbach is no longer assigned a collective site. The  oldest label , which depicts a beautiful view of the town, dates as far back as  1834.
