600 Bee house
The Beekeepers Association cares for the apiary, which currently houses one or two honeybee colonies. …
Various beehives (log hives) and different old, as well as new, beekeeping equipment are on display, among other things. The collection is complemented by other rare insect nests, such as a hornet and a giant wasp nest.
A remembrance stone from the 1930s, located in front of the apiary, commemorates the labour service. The labour service created various pathways in the Moos and built walls, as well as the loading ramps made of sandstone, which were necessary at the time. The remembrance stone had been loosened at its original location and appeared to have been readied for removal by thieves. However, it was secured and then stored in the yard for some time. It now stands in the museum to commemorate this time further.
